Chiranjeevi movies does always have a thundering openings at Guntur. It is been a fact for the last 28 years. Megastar's latest sensation SDZ is also creating records in Guntur.

On first day of it's release it got a share of 40 lakhs on 16 prints in 15 stations and by end of 3 days it got collected (40 + 22 + 18 lakhs) 80 lakhs and expected to collect more than one crore rupees(1.1 crore is the rough estimation) by first week i.e. 7 days. This is another record. As Chiranjeevi is the only Hero in the history of Guntur area to have crossed one crores first week share land mark. Again Chiranjeevi is going to occupy second place by surpassing his own brother Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's annavaram first week share of 90+ lakhs. Remember that 2nd day of the release 28th July few shows were cancelled due to the opposition parties bundh in the state.

SDZ is released in 6 theatres in Guntur, out of which gowrishankar is one day theatre and remaining 5 theatres are week theatres. The maximum entry fee for these halls is 60Rs and the theatres are, krishna Mahal, krishna Picture Palace, Naz apsara (all are in less than 200 meters distance in Guntur one town). Remaning two theatres are bollywood and Harihara Mahal in Two Town.
