Megapowerstar Ram Charan’s
latest movie Orange is fast
completing its post production
work. Mega Brother Nagendra Babu
is planning to release the movie
by Nov 5th on the eve
of Deepavali. Charan is very
confident on the movie as it
does contain good love story and
youthful subject with lot of
emotions and family drama. More
over Charan is riding high with
his recent industry hit block
buster movie Magadheera and with
all support from Megafans,
Charan can make a mark at the
box office.
On the other hand many big
movies are also in queue for the
release in the coming one month
duration. Venkatesh’s
Chandramukhi-2, Nagarjuna’s
Gaganam, Mahesh’s Khaleja, NTR’s
Brindavanam are the few biggies
ready for the release in one
month time. It is estimated that
150 crores rupees were invested
in the above said 5 big movies,
apart from that Rakthacharitra,
Bava and other few releases are
also waiting in the queue. Now
the big question is whether
Tollywood can take that much
huge investment and give returns
in the same proportion?
Generally for Andhra Pradesh
Sankranthi, summer and Dussera
are considered to be good
seasons. Deepavali is always
considered as a bad season for
Telugu movie releases. On top of
that Multilingual Tamil, Telugu,
Hindi movie ROBO is also hitting
the screens in October 1st.
So huge investments were made
and everyone is forcing their
movies to be released In a span
of 35 days. Availability of
theatres is another problem. As
movies are being made with huge
investments, every one wants to
release the movie with maximum
number of theatres, but
availability of theatres is
going to hit the revenue a lot.
In such fierce competition, a
good or better movie can mar the
collections of an average
or below average movie. It is
better that the Telugu film
producers should learn to
organize themselves and plan to
release the movies in a proper
way, otherwise industry will
suffer.
